At the top of the Great Tree lives a family of squirrels - father, mother and three baby squirrels - Melchior, Balthazar and Caspar (these were the names of the wise men who brought gifts to Jesus for Christmas). On the eve of the great holiday, little Kaspar went somewhere, so dad goes in search. Together with him, little readers will jump from branch to branch, look for animals and chicks, open bright windows with surprises to finally find out where the squirrel and his friends are hiding, and how they are preparing for Christmas in this magical forest.
